Dear Conference Attendee,
On behalf of the Ohio Travel Association and Destination Toledo, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to Toledo for this year’s Ohio Conference on Travel. We are thrilled to host this exciting event from October 2-4, 2024, at the Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel in the heart of downtown. It’s an honor to host our peers throughout the travel and tourism industry in our city for an event that embodies what we all strive to do each day: inspire, educate, connect, and celebrate.
I know this year’s conference will inspire you, fuel your enthusiasm for Ohio’s travel and tourism industry, and show you what Toledo is all about. This year’s agenda is filled with a diverse array of sessions, workshops, and keynote speeches designed to educate and energize you. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to connect with experts in the travel and tourism industry, engage in meaningful discussions, and network with peers from across the state and beyond. Finally, we can’t wait to celebrate the accomplishments and amazing work in our industry throughout the state with the annual RUBY Awards, Paul Sherlock Legend in Ohio Travel Award, and Emerging Leader Awards.
Even with a full schedule of events, there will be plenty of time for seeing some of the Glass City! We have unforgettable experiences planned at the Toledo Zoo & Aquarium that will be a roaring-good time, with giraffe feedings, train rides, and Harvest Fest fun. Please take time to explore downtown Toledo's diverse and delicious restaurant scene, and don’t forget to grab a Tony Packo’s hot dog, a locally brewed beer, or your own piece of hand-blown glass to remember us by.
As the 2024 Conference Chair, I am particularly grateful for the collaboration between the Ohio Travel Association, Destination Toledo, and the conference committee for the exceptional effort in making this event possible. The hard work and dedication of all involved have been instrumental in bringing this event to life, and we are confident that their efforts will make your stay in Toledo enjoyable and memorable.
